The Zsh Repository Blog
Ready to finally launch zpi and zrep
Written by kekePower
It has been an exciting and busy few months for me as I've worked hard on both zpi and this website, the zrep repository. I think it's time to finally launch it to the public and take it from there.
zpi v0.0.8
zpi v0.0.8 was released today with a few bug fixes and it is in a Good Enough working order for day to day use, at least for me.
I'm hoping the community sees the potential in the script and sends in improvements and pull requests so that it becomes even better.
This website and its back-end
The last part of the puzzle was to create a website and an admin panel that I've dubbed rePanel. This also works Good Enough, although there are still quite a lot of bugs and missing functionality in there.
As of today, it is possible to add and publish new scripts. The plan is to enhance rePanel so that different people with different roles can do more.
The roles I've defined so far are
- Administrator
- Editor
- Moderator
For now, there will be only 1 Administrator and that's me.
An Editor will have almost all of the rights of an Administrator and is the Right Hand of this role.
Moderators are people who do most of the chores, like tackling the Issue Tracker, looking at (upcoming) abuse reports and more.
